Planted in 1974, Sierra Madre Vineyard has long been one of the premier vineyards in Santa Maria. Sierra Madre enjoys the distinction of being the coolest climate and most westerly vineyard in Santa Maria Valley, as well as one of the former cornerstone vineyards for Byron. Owner Doug Circle and winemaker Steve Rasmussen have happily taken the reigns of this historic vineyard to produce the best and most characteristic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the area.
